Zuul, Stop the Rain
Long as I remember, the rain been coming down
Clouds of mystery pouring confusion on the ground
Good men through the ages, tryin to find the sun
And I say it, still I pray it: Zuul, stop the rain
I went down to Manhattan, seekin shelter from the storm
Caught up in the fable, I watched the tower grow
Smoky ruins and maidens wrapped in golden chains
And I say it, still I pray it: Zuul, stop the rain
Heard the chanters wailing, how they cried for more
The crowd had rushed together, trying to keep warm
Still the rain kept pouring, fallin on my ears
And I wonder, still I wonder: Are you the gatekeeper?
