Its so cool how your into the senery at mammoth as much as i am!!
These photos are great! I'm guessing you must have the artistic talent to visualize that the view from such and such a vantage point would make a good photo, and you hike over to that point before you shoot the photo? Wow!
Ped, that's pretty much how I operate. That Tioga Lake one, though, was from the drivers seat of my car (but I backed up to the "right" place and rolled down the window).
