Sleep, snack, walk along the beach. Local families -- kids playing in the turquoise surf, men playing volleyball and rugby, women sitting under the trees. It's quite nice under the trees. Breeze off the ocean, shade from the hot sun directly overhead. Big waves elicit shrieks from the kids.

The gardener chopped us open a coconut he just picked. Big brown coconut: not much juice, but plenty of crunchy flesh. Lightweight for its size.

Swimming in the ocean. The warm, warm ocean. The same kids were still there. Hours of entertainment. The waves push, pull, crash, soak. Let it carry you back & forth. Try to hold steady against it. Try to clean the sand out of your swimsuit after it drags you along the bottom in the shallows. Thirsty quickly. I float! Just that little bit of salt keeps my legs from sinking. Yay! ... Woke up at 8:40, went to dinner. Moonlight on the crashing waves. Stars and flying clouds.
