Auckland is bigger and nicer than Seattle, in Chunlin's opinion. ... Water all around, here, there, everywhere. As big as NYC, but less dense. Seattle needs more highways.

After the SkyTower, we stopped at a sushi restaurant for late dinner. Chunlin was looking for soup & she found it. When I ordered a sushi "mini set" from the menu, they seemed confused, as if they'd never served one before. Chinese was their first language. But they didn't serve Chinese food.
