How are you mnemonics?

So here's the would-be list of the twelve known planets:

Mercury
Venus
Earth
Mars
Ceres
Jupiter
Saturn
Uranus
Neptune
Pluto
Charon
"Xena"

Or if we lower the size threshold a bit:

Mercury
Venus
Earth
Mars
Vesta
Ceres
Pallas
Hygiea
Jupiter
Saturn
Uranus
Neptune
Pluto
Charon
Orcus
Ixion
Varuna
TX300
"Santa"
Quaoar
"Easterbunny"
AW197
"Xena"
Sedna

Got that?

Ah for the good old days (1950) when there were 9 planets, Jupiter had 12 moons, and Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto had none.

Or for the really old days (Galileo), when there were 6 planets, and Jupiter had only 4 moons. The solar system has been sprouting planets and moons in the last 50 years.

Or for the ancient times, when there were only five planets, the moon, and the stars.
