To the Aranui Cave for a tour. Full of otherworldly formations of stalagmites and stalactites. Towers and protrusions, drips and soft colors.

A broken stalactite from 1911 (when opened to public after 1910 discovery) now has an inch-plus of new stalactite on it. But not all the broken rocks. Only some still ahve water, I guess.

A bit after 4 now, not many food options available. the cafe we ended up at only serves pizza now (or salad or fries). So Thai chicken pizza it is. Pizza pizza pizza. The cave was discovered by a hunter's dog who cornered a feral pig.
