I'm Not Here

The office is just about empty.

"Nobody's here," says a coworker. "I'm fixing to not be here."

And since here I am online instead of working, I'm not here either. I don't think I forgot anything work-related this week. But there's always that little nagging in the back of my head. Too many projects to comfortably keep track of.

That's why one of my fellow jurors (for that trial I was on the jury for many, many moons ago) quit architecture: Too much stress.

So she quit and became a cop.

Architecture isn't stressful as long as you don't care...
