Puke
For the first time since I was a kid, I threw up this morning. I must have a virus. Maybe not, though. No fever. Headache, nausea.
I made a conscious decision to puke. About a half hour of roiling guts after eating and I just decided that it was either stay in agony or kneel before the toilet.
Chili looks, smells, and tastes the same on the way back up. Maybe a little runnier, I suppose.
Afraid to eat anything now.

I broke my five year non-puking streak this summer.
Tracie and I went to the beach, and, well... lets just say coconut shrimp, some kind of red fruit drink and a scary island ghost tour was not a good combination AT ALL!
I ended up accidentally throwing up on someone's grave :(
They prolly didn’t appreciate that...
Huh. Several things occur to me:
1) That wasn't too much detail for me. In fact, it's the kind of story I might tell (and probably have told).
2) You haven't thrown up since you were a kid?? Wow. I probably haven't gone more than a couple of years without vomiting.
3) Yes, there gets to be a point where throwing up (despite the unpleasantness) makes you feel better afterwards.
4) Speaking as someone who has (apparently) thrown up a lot more than you, I would definitely suggest taking it easy with food the next couple of days. Clear liquids, bread, plain rice, bananas, etc.
5) Like chili, 7-Up and Nutella both taste the same coming up as going down. 7-Up has lost its carbonation, of course, and Nutella is a bit slimier, but the basic taste is the same both directions.
No fever? Just headache and nausea? Might be food poisoning and not a virus. If you want, you can check this website to decide if it was flu or cold...

This chart agrees with me, that it might be food poisoning...
