RAAAAAAAAACE!

The bestest ever tv show starts again tonight. The Amazing Race, CBS, 9/8 central. Watch it!

On an unrelated note, do you think the guy at the teriyaki place really asked if I wanted "chocolate yam sauce" on my yakisoba? I said "what?" the first time, and it still sounded the same, so I said "yeah." I don't taste chocolate or yam, so I probably heard wrong.

Could the word you heard as "chocolate" have been "Would you like"?

I thought I remembered him saying "would you like chocolate ham sauce?" but maybe it was just "would you like ham sauce?"

Reminds of the time I walked up to the counter in a Burger King in south Birmingham, England, and the young male clerk rattled off something absolutely incomprehensible in his strong "Bumin-um" accent. After I gave him a dazed, "Whhaatt?" in my American accent, he slowed down and switched over to something closer to standard British English so that I could understand him to say the common "Welcome to Burger King, how may I help you?"

Well? Did you enjoy the Race? Traffic in Sao Paolo must be absolutely horrible! Once again, it appears that 20-something males have the edge.

Good start to the Race, definitely! So far, I like both teams of California boys, MoJo, the mother/daughter, and the self-proclaimed nerds. Lake/whatshername and the team who already got philiminated were on my dislike list.

And no bunching!! Yay!

I didn't watch the last race (which turned out to be a good thing, from what I heard), but I'm watching this one! I'll ditto the Yay! to no bunching.

The hippies and nerd were pretty cool -- I liked how they were really into enjoying the experience while still racing well. My least favorites were Lake/whatshername, the team that got philiminated, and the team that was next-to-last.

My favorites are the mother/daughter....but that may just be because I have a crush on the daughter... She's so pretty!

Yes, Desiree is ... what's the term? hoooot!

And during the introduction clips, did you happen to notice the black woman's thighs? No? Nevermind.

Desiree is very cute, and those thighs were nice, but whooe, you guys forgot to mention the blonde bombers in pink! Or are they "MoJo"?

Looked it up. The blonde bombers are Danielle and Dani. MoJo are Monica and Joseph from Arkansas.
